The concept

Producer Jim Bigham and director Ali Selim founded Carbon to formalize their 20-year working partnership. Carbon's task is to service the advertising and marketing needs of pharmaceutical, healthcare, and nutrition related agencies and companies because they believe health is the new black.

Collectively, they have worked in the advertising industry for over half a century for such clients as Bristol Myers Squibb, Eli Lilly, Glaxo Smith Kline, Ivax, Proctor & Gamble, Pfizer, Merck, Kaiser Permanente, Tap, Whitehall-Robins, and Pharmaca.

Their productions have taken them to every major city in the United States and Canada and to five of the seven continents. They also wrote, produced and directed the Spirit Award winning feature film, Sweet Land starring Ned Beatty, Alan Cumming and Lois Smith.
